Tabb High School rolls to AA/A Virginia field hockey title in record-setting fashion
The players on the James Monroe High School field hockey team thought they played better in Tuesday’s Group AA/A Virginia state final against Tabb High School when compared to a 2-0 loss earlier this month in the Region I championship. But the result was the same: a 5-0 win for the defending champs, who outscored opponents 162-2 this year, setting a state record for all classifications for season scoring margin.
