Score doesn’t tell story of Cheshire-Greenwich thriller


Those who missed last Friday’s Cheshire-Greenwich field hockey game in Connecticut might be deceived by the fact the game ended a scoreless tie after overtime. Scoreless games are often dominated by midfield play, with the majority of the action taking place between the teams’ 25s. Scoring chances are minimal and the respective goalies usually don’t record a large number of saves. Not so during this dynamic game.
